They detested the smell of the new food so badly that they refused to eat their old even if just a small amount of it was mixed in with their cat food. It might be wise to see if your cat will at least eat a spoonful of moist or a kibble of the new before you invest in a month's supply of Diamond or any other cat food, for that matter.
